I have a 2004 A4 1.8T and I'm getting this code-PO234. I looked this code up and it tells me Turbo/Super Charger over boost condition. Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated.

I have the same code. 2003 Audi A4. Wondering if this is common and what the fix would most likely be.

 

Not an expert at this but I had the same code on my 2005 B6 S-Line. This is the response I got from a member (old guy) on Audizine:

"First reset all the codes and see what comes back. The overboost could have been recorded a long time ago and never cleared.

If the P0234 overboost code comes back check the hose from your high pressure port on the turbo to the N75 boost regulation valve. Also check the hose from the N75 to the wastegate. I suspect you are going to find a cracked/split hose in one of those positions"

I cleared the code and it hasn't come back. This was back I'm March. I also checked all my hoses and were all good. Hope this helps.
