k&n 33-2209

 

Pa4ul im using the Baileys DV (AWE stage1+ chip n injectors, AWE exhaust and carbonio intake)

Slade i have had it for about a week, and when i say Japanese i mean when you hear a handa/acura subrau or even a neon srt4, when they take their foot off the gas you hear the BOV "dump" the pressure from the turbo. my friends like it but i dont. hope that i didnt confuse you.

 

i would say the aftermarket dv would be more audible then a stock valve. Thats probably y u hear such a loud woosh when u get off the gas. I cant hear anything when i left off the gas. . . how loud is the woosh can u get a video up.

and do u think the k&n 33-2209 will fit in the carbonio?

 

I run a K&N with a stock airbox with the baffles inside the box removed. Works awesome. The only downside is when you drive in heavy rain/snow some moisture can get through and get on the maf and cause misfiring....rarely. But when you compare the cost between a K&N and your time to mod the box and a carbino....K&N all the way. Use the extra 300+ dollars for something else

 

i wanna hear a sound clip of someone who removed the baffles. anyone out there?

 

what kind of air filter is in their right now?

Wait I was thinking of putting a intake as well. Till I heard keeping the factory in there and adding what now? Can some one break it down for me.
