Common Audi Problems
I am a new audi owner, and i was just wondering what exactly is abnormal behavior in audi's. I want to know what i should look for in finding problems in my car before they get worse.
For example when i first bought my car it sounded normal, very quite. Now when i start it ( from the inside ) i hear a kind of buzzing noise after a few seconds of the engine start up. I asked my friends if they heard it and only 1 of them said he did. The others said there was nothing there. But seeing how i know it is a different sound from when i first got it, i notice it more.
The car is running fine but that noise is still there and it seems like its coming from the back of my car, but i can only hear it when im inside. I have no idea what it is. Should i be worried?

If it's coming from under your back rear seats. It's your fuel pump going bad. You can also try and check your fuel filter.
Here is a link to which should help you in changing the fuel pump:

Here is a link to change out the fuel filter. It is for an Audi A4 Avant which is the same steps as our Audi A4 B6:

change out your filter first. if you change out a bad filter in time, you wont do significant damage to the pump. if its still making that noise after a new fuel filter, then the pump is shot.
