Default Convertible roof getting stuck while going down

I have a 2005 Audi A4 B6 3.0 Quattro Cabriolet that seems to have a sticky roof. The roof will go up and down with no problems during cooler days. On hot days, like 80 degrees and up, the roof will get stuck while going down and will require some minor assistance. I have tried greasing down most of the joints and it still seems to occur. Could the roof mechanism just be low on hydraulic fluid, is there a specific joint I’m missing, or could there be some other issue?

That's an odd issue. Have you tried going to the dealer?

I think you should take your car to the mechanic.

I haven't heard a problem like this before.

Default I have the same problem on my 2005 S4.

Mine gets stuck about halfway down on hot days. I accessed the pump motor/hydraulic Reservoir and siphoned the small tank out and put fresh fluid in there. The Fluid level was not low before I did that. It seems to have helped initially, but the problem came back. I think it would be ideal if I could change out the entire fluid system, but not sure if it could be done and what that entails. I'm thinking maybe bleeding may be required. I've seen some YouTube videos about replacing the motor, but all those people's tops would fault as soon as the top started to open, and my motor sounds OK, so I feel that is not the issue. I've seen YouTube videos for bleeding Ford Mustangs, so that is something that is possible on other vehicles. Hopefully someone else will chime in now that there's 2 of us with same problem.

You should definitely show the mechanic your car, in my opinion.
