A/C Pressure Switch Fuse Keeps Blowing
HELP!!
-econ light is on
-new pressure switch installed
-refrigerant is topped up and pressurized at acceptable levels and no leaks
-fuse #6 (5 amp) keeps blowing when the car starts
i had a vag-com read out and it throws code 00819. its says "open short circuit to positive". i'm assuming one or more of the wires is fried and is not communicating the proper signal. can anyone shed some more light on this for me and where do i start looking for the shorted wire/circuit? i checked the wiring harness to the pressure switch with a multimeter and its fine.
thanks

after it plugs into the larger harness, you can't access any wires as they down the inside of the quarter panel and into the ECM. everything else is functional in the car so i can only assume its isolated to the 3 wires going into the pressure sensor.

did some testing and find out the reference wire (red/white) is dead and not sending its 5 to 8 volts. does anyone know where this wire leads to from the pressure sensor? i followed it as far as it can go and goes into the quarter panel.....after that.......ECM??????
does anyone have a wiring schematic?????

Same problem with A/C fuse.
Any luck figuring out the problem??? I replaced everything from condenser to the the fuses. Still the 5 amp fuse blows immediately, so no cold air!!! Anybody figure it out or is it another $1500 plus at the Audi dealer!!!!😁😁😁😁
