Default coolant part

I have a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T and i am having trouble figuring out this part thats been causing me to loose coolant. I have pictures but it's hard to point it out the part with the pictures i've taken, but i'll try to explain where it's at.

The part that im looking for is under the hose bolted on the back of the head

Here is a better photo its right under the hose connected to the valve cover

Can't see your pics but it sounds like the coolant flange.

+1 on the coolant flange. Its not a real expensive part, but its a BITCH to do if you've never done it before.
