Default CV Axle replacement help

I am going to be replacing my CV axles soon. I have searched and cannot find a DIY or walk through on the process. Does anyone know where I can find one?

And more specifically, what tool do I need to remove the CV axle from the auto trans?

Thanks!

I found that the axle bolt (wheel side) is a 17mm hex. What about the trans side with the multiple bolts? I believe it is a 12 point but does anyone know what size they are and how long the socket needs to be?

I used a Triple Square Head Bolt Socket - 10mm to remove my axle from the transmission.
