CVT Owners
I open this thread because i want to know more about CVT transmission problems and the millage they gone so far with out to many problems. I have been seen a lot of posts about cvt lately so i thought this would be a good thread to keep up with things that go bad.
Mine has 82,524 i just got this car. The first thing that i did is change timing belt and water pump.
This car was well maintained runs good and i really like but not as much as my other a4 quattro.
If you drive one say
1. the millage of the car
2.problems and fixes
I hope this helps all cvt owners out there.

04 1.8t USP bought car with 96k. Had timing belt, water pump, coolant flange, tensioner, upper intake gaskets, 235/40/18 continental dws tires. Changed front brakes. Had tranny oil changed at 112k. Still needs glove box door, sun visor clip drivers side, center console door, catalytic converter ( using spacer right now o2 to rid the chk engine light) as of today p0102 ( possibly vac leak), need rear brakes. I think that's it! I put $4k in this car in a year and a half and currently has 118k.
