i have had the car for 6 months or so now, this has happened 3 or 4 times, i will be driving down the road (just shortly after starting the car) and it will skip and buck a bit?? what might be the problem? coils and plugs possibly?

 

I don't know but a coil pack would be the likely suspect. Read the codes.

 

theres nothing on the display... just hook it up to the obdII scanner and it might tell me somthing?

 

Yes, or use a vag-com.

This is the second time you've complained about it... If you haven't replaced the coilpacks JUST DO IT!!!! OR borrow some off a friend and see if that's the problem. If it is, then replace ALL OF THEM and get it done... I did and it really helped.
