Default Dealer maintenance issue

Just want to get your guys feedback on the below scenario.

I took my 2005 B6 A4 into the dealership for the 25,000 mile maintenance last Tuesday morning. They told me it would be done 3pm. After no calls from them I call at about 4:30pm. They tell me they need to keep the car overnight because the car won't start. They can't give me any more details because they haven't diagnosed the problem.

Next day I get a call in the morning saying they are repairing the car and it will be ready that day. It seems the tech who was changing my oil accidentally disconnect knocked the throttle body loose.

I get my car that night and on the drive home the 'Oil Pressure' light comes on and off a few times. When I get home I call the dealership and they say I need to get the car towed back to the dealership. They send a tow truck (free of charge).

After a day of diagnosis (it's now Thursday) they say that because of the "fresh oil" now in the car build up of "oil crud" has clogged multiple locations within the engine and oil pump. They clean one clog, turn the car on, the 'Oil pressure' light comes on, and they clear another. Rinse and repeat until the light doesn't come on anymore.

It's now Wednesday and I was told They most likely won't be done until this Friday but that they also can't give me a firm date when it will be done because they don't know how many clogs there are.

So what's your guy's thoughts on all this? Luckily for me my car is under warranty and I was told by the dealership all this work is covered by the warranty. In any case though does this sound a bit shady? or is it legit?

They should have been using fully synthetic oil when they have serviced it previously and sludge wouldn't have been a problem. They knew better. At least they are married to it now and have to fix it. Next order of business when you get the car back and everything is as it should be is to find another dealer who's worth your business to service the car.

The car was previously serviced by another Audi dealer (the dealer I purchased the car through). I recently moved and this is the first time at this dealership.

They have been great through all this Customer Service wise but I really just want to make sure this dealership is legit and honest in what they are telling me. Does the problem I described sound legit?

I guess I am skeptical because I know they already broke something once (throttle body) and now this is happening. Plus I have been Audiless for a week now and am naturally irritated because of that. All I have is some stupid Mazda CX7 they gave me as a loaner.

Wow that sux! At least they are taking care of it for you. I'm suprised they gave you a MAZDA as a loaner. The few times I had to get a loaner from the stealership they gave me another audi, usually an a4 but once they gave me an a5 (that was a nice ride)

I asked for an upgrade and they said they only have Mazda's and Honda's as loaners. my old dealer had Q7's and A3's as loaners, which was nice. Though, they may have been the one's that got me into this situation in the first place.

If I got an A5 for a loaner I wouldn't mind them keeping my car for another week or two.
