Maintenance done by Audi dealer
Bought 2007 A4 2.0t back in Nov. Car had about 71k miles. My question is there anyway of finding out what maintenance has been done by Audi on the vehicle? Not real sure how much maintenance has been done such as timing belts, coil packs, fuel pump cam follower and any other items that need to be checked. I just replaced the N80 valve for a evap issue and a coil pack. But I have read that the fuel pump cam follower needs to be replaced as well. Just trying to find out what Audi may have done beforehand.

Go to the Audi service department and give them your Vin. number. Ask them to check and give you a read out of what dealer services had been done. If they don't have the history then any work that was done was not by Audi. Also a car fax will have some info if who ever worked on the car reported it to them.
It depends, I went to an Audi dealer in my area when I first bought the car and asked the same thing, they said they could only tell me what work has been done by Audi IF it was done at that specific dealer, if it was done at another one I would have to go there to find out....
I just took my daughters 2005.5 2.0T to our local Audi dealer.
Actually i left it there last night (behind there fence) after the service closed and left key in drop box with instructions to perfrom diagnostic.
I may be jumping the gun here but wow was i surprised as service called me around 7:30 a.m. to thank me for leaving car and to provide me with what seems to be "good news".
First, took car in cuz running really ruff at idle and upon eccelaration. My daughter lets tank run too low to often so i expected to hear the low pressure gas sending unit is shot.
They updated me on all recall campaign items that Audi has replaced or repaired already on the car including the ignition coilpacks.
They told me that two areas had not yet been addressed including the gas sending unit or sensor and something else that escapes me right now.
Hopefully that will be the cure and best @ "no charge".
If not their diagnostic charge is $125.00.
Waiting for a phonce call.

Spoke to AudiUSA about getting the maintenance records and they said that they do not keep individual records because the dealers are independently owned. However, they were able to tell me who originally sold the vehicle. I contacted that dealer and they indicated that they would get me the records. Haven't seen them yet...guess we'll wait and see.
