Yeah that display is just an estimate. Mine always says 400 miles, I'm lucky to see 300 the way I drive. It takes a long time (at least a full tanks worth) driving to change your average enough to have any noticeable impact on your fuel expectancy though, so you must have inadvertently reset something, unless you took the drag strip to work instead of the highway
