Dipstick Warning
Guys,
Our dipsticks in the B6 models are prone to crumbling apart and falling into the engine. I pulled mine out earlier and low and behold, it just cracked and came apart.. Lucky for me it did'nt fall down the dipstick housing, but it was on it's way to do so.
I can't imagine a hard piece of orange plastic inside the sump would do the car any favors.. So for the sakes of $15 for a brand new official one from Audi, I highly recommend just changing yours
My car is a 2004 with only 28k... The thing just fell apart. A quick search on here shows this is a common problem. So my advice is change your every few yrs to play it safe.
