I was wondering if some one could show me a picture of how the diverter valve connects.

Or simply answer me this question. If I am looking at the front of the car(driver side on the right hand side) would the diverter valve sit like this

Thanks. But unfortunately I have seen this. And it does not tell me the orientation of the DV. It says, "There should also be a small hose that comes out of the top of the valve."
That's all well and good, but...it doesn't matter how the DV rests, the vacuum hose is still going to come out of the TOP of the DV.
