Default DIY ipod installers...

Through wonderful instruction from this baord I am going to hook my ipod up myself with the Icelink kit. Is the link provided, is this the right kit I need? The seller isn't responding to my questions, and a few other ones he sells seem to be car specific. This one doesn't list any specific vehicle. Thanks.

Usually iPod adapter seller lists which vehicle it is for butit specifiedfor Sony. Does it works only with Sony head unit? Because all his other auctions specified vehicle type. I won't buy it unless the seller answer the question. You don't want to buy something from Ebay and later on find out it doesn't fit your car; too much hassel to deal for return/refund.

I'll wait for an Auid specific one to come around.

I also noticed, there are only two slots for removal keys on my radio. Some places sell four and others two. It is an '04 A4 1.8T.

My car is '04 A4 3.0 and I have 4 slots on the radio in order to remove it; 2 on the top of the radio and 2 on the bottom of the radio. Here is the link to a good write-up (w/ pics) on how to install ice-link. It shows 4 slots as well... check it out.
