Question ECM compatibility
Are the Engine Control Modules (ECM) for the 1.8L Turbo all the same for 2002-2005?
How about for early years?

I assume the ECM is unique to the Turbo model?

If I recall correctly from reading some discussion on another board, there are differences between the 2002 and the 2003+ units, and the B5 (2001 and earlier) units are also different.
