Open your hood

and spray or lube with high quality grease your hood latch mechanism.

Overtime dirt got in mine and i broke the handle trying to pop the hood open.

I have to say i have never, ever! been so frustrated with a car issue ever! Not being able to get in there was like: wining, dining and later being told its that time of the month! lol jk.

If the cable is still attached, have someone pull on the cable by the ball and judo chop the front of the hood by where the latch is, and it should pop open.

Takes 2 mins, WD40 or better. Keep that mechanism lubed.
