Yeah those definetely don't seem to be the right ones. I thought I had some laying around but I couldn't find them.

I actually found out what my problem was. I was putting the clips ON the trim piece, instead of inside the door panel.

They WERE the right clips but I actually played around with it and realized I was clipping them into the wrong spot...

I'm an idiot.

Thanks a lot for the help.

the white shows where i needed to put the clips, and i finally realized that.
