FLOOD IN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT
Hey ,
I took my car to get waxed. When it was readythe car wouldn't start. It just wouldn't kick over. After looking at the enginethe manager noticed about 3-4 inches of water in the battery compartment. He cleared the drain hole and after sitting for a couple of minute the car started. butnow theengine checklight is onand at time the car feels like it's misfiring. Can anyone give me some advise how to fix this.
thanks

There should be a drain, but it's hard to find (under the battery) that may be plugged. If you can, try and remove the battery and unplug the drain. I had the same problem and that's all I had to do.
I am not sure if this will cause the CEL to pop up but there is a confort control module underneath the drivers seat it must have gotten flooded. Well that is what happen to me but i did not get a CEL instead my winows sunroff interior lights and etc were not working
