I pulled out the H11's out of my 03 SVT Focus that I got from Hoen USA - Google it. I need to put them in my A4. I am hoping that they are a close match. The stock are not bad, but these were a great match to the 4300k HID's on my SVT.

You cannot interchange H7 with H11 as the base of the bulb is different and it just won't fit. Incidentally H9 and H11 can be interchanged, but they are the exception.
As mentioned earlier you should go the HID way. Only HID will give you the pure white 4000k color you want. Halogen is way below that!
The Sylvania bulbs won't give you more light, but it seems that your goal is to change from amber to white, so that would accomplish that. It just won't be 4000k though, as only HID can get into that range.

zippy, check that site that I posted. Hoen-USA, they sell an h11 that almost is a direct match to a 4300k HID. I had them on my Focus SVT, and will be installing them on my A4 soon. I will post some pics of them on.

please do idk if i should get the titanium fogs ($50) or the xenonmatch fogs ($40) .. it says for the titanium that heavy duty connectors and / or a harness upgrade is recommended for optimum lighting performance??

I got the xenonmatch I believe. I can post a pic of them on my SVT.

I only have some daytime shots, but here goes:

The SVT had 4300K OEM HID's in it, and they were a near exact match. I will try to get them on my car if I get a chance today. If not, then Monday for sure. Will post pics and comparison with stock.

I went with the VVME HID kit for my fogs. I got the 4300K to match the OEM headlights. Haven't had any problems with them. I put them in about 8 months ago. So they survived brutal New England weather.

Yeah, you want to talk about New England weather, it is a BLIZZARD today, March 22nd. A damn blizzard. End of March, and its snowing.

Almost as good as the 8 inches of "partly cloudy" on my driveway last year that the weatherman called for...

Did you have to do much custom work to fit the VVME HIDs? I'm looking for a drop-in, 'm not terribly awesome with custom work of that variety...

If I'm not mistaken you gotta drill a little bit around the fog lights in order to get the extra thicker wires from the HID bulbs back to the ballast and car plugs. Its not a hard task but if you take you're time it will be neat and clean
