Default Fuel injector question?

Hello, I drive a 02 1.8T quattro. The information i'm looking for is which injector that comes out of the AUDI TT that is upgradable to my car. I know it's the injector that runs the k04 turbo. What year range does this injector fall under? Engine code or part number? Anything that will help me narrow my search down before i do my tune. Appreciate any help.

i think your talking about the bosch 225 injectors that are 380cc, if your going to something like stage 1+ you'll need them. i believe the Bosch part number is 0280155892 but these are some on ecs Audi B6 A4 Quattro 1.8T > Search > Injectors > ES#2919 386cc Fuel Injectors - Set Of Four - 06A906031J TT

I agree with Olstyn. I just picked up a set from there a month ago myself when I decided to add the "+" stage. It's the best deal I've been able to locate and the shipping was fairly quick also.

I was thinking of buying the k04 off ECSTuning.com any insight to this kit would be appreciated. Audi B6 A4 Quattro 1.8T > Engine > Turbo > ES#6036 KO4 Turbocharger With ECS Install Kit & TT Injectors - 058149000

In my experience cheaper isn't always better, have you or anyone you know personally used these injectors with a k04 upgrade with no problems? The link you listed shows the injectors as 100 dollars to ECSTunings 339. Price is not an issue for me, i want the best componets i can put in my car. The APR dealer wants 500 for the TT injectors recommended with this upgrade. In the link i listed above shows the whole kit i'm interested in.

The link I showed is per injector, whereas ECS lists a set of 4. It's $71.75 x 4 = $287 vs $339. APR's pricing for the injectors is significantly inflated. As far as I know, they are the exact same parts from both ECS and ecodetuning, and in the case of the same parts, cheaper is always better. (I'd certainly agree with you that cheaper is [potentially] worse if you're not getting the same items, but when the only variable is price, why pay more?)

Oh per injector, i didn't see that. Yeah i agree if it's the same product. I just feel more comfortable buying OEM products.

Right there with you on that; OEM or stuff that's demonstrably superior, all the way.
