Sitting in a repair shop right now in Yorktown VA awaiting replacment of a failed fuel pump in my 2004 A4 1.8t Avant. Have researched this forum and the NHTSA website and found a recall issued for MY 2003 A4's with this problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue with a later MY, e.g., 2004, 2005, etc.? If so, perhaps there are sufficient numbers to warrant petitioning Audi USA/NHTSA to extend the recall. Anyone else?
