Hi guys, I'm thinking of buying this A4 (B6), just wants a second opinion from you guys to see whether its a good buy for its asking price.

its a 2004 A4 Avant 2.4 V6 SE multitronic, 2 owners, really tidy both inside and out, 62,000miles, multifuction steering wheel, heated leather seats, air-con, electric everything (except seats), part service history, fridge in glove box... etc etc.... the garage is asking £4,800.. The airbag warning light was on when I test drove it, but the garage said it might just be a loose connector in the driver's seat, and they will put it right (apparently this is a common fault on these!)

I'm actually thinking to go for it, what do yous recon?

 

IIRC the multitronic is the CVT transmission. Those things are ticking time bombs that when (not if) they fail pretty much brick your car. I wouldn't voluntarily buy one no matter what the price (not sure what Audis go for across the pond but 4800 is much to high, maybe close if we were talking dollars but....)
