Got her back from the dealer today, new engine and all. Starts up with barely a key turn. Runs like butter, drives like a dream. The way its supposed to be.

I still have that sneaking suspicion that the CEL will come on in a day or two, unfortunately that is what I have become accustomed to. I find myself looking at the dash every minute or two expecting to see it. Sucks, but hopefully I never see that dang light again, and I can enjoy my A4 the way I am supposed to.

Just hope that I dont have to bring her back in until the 55K service.

I think you got it. If the light comes on is going to be something different. What did the shop tell you?

 

Shop really didnt tell me anything. The service guy there I have been talking to this entire time has been great though. I have everything I need right now to invoke the lemon law, and quite frankly if it happened again really soon, I would. But I dont want to, because I really love it.

IMO, after replacing the engine if the CEL came on, what the hell else could it be? But, I drove it all day today, short trips, longer trips, high speeds (90ish) lower speeds and not a single problem.

I so missed taking a sharp turn at high speeds, cant do that driving my Expedition!
