so my cousin bought an 04 A4 that had transmission problems, turned out to be a cvt that had taken a dump. he swapped it out for a 5spd out of an 03 passat. it all turned out to fit, the passat tranny only has two sensors coming out of it, the tranny speed sensor, and the backup switch for the lights.

so the questions here is where would the tranny speed sensor connect to in the cvt harness?

the cvt was only plugged in to the car through a 13 pin round connector. for the time being we only want to plug in the speed sensor so it'll shut off most of the cel's and warning lights on the car. so if anyone has a diagram for that round connector to see which wire does what i could then connect the speed sensor to the right wires. all the rest should be able to work out with vcds.

any help will be much apprecciated.
