Ok i have an '02 A4 1.8T quattro that has headlight washers. I have tried everything and i am positive that it is not spraying. The windshield one works fine so i know that its not a fuse or anything. It seems like i have to fill up the reservoir alot but the tank is kinda small. Does anyone know where I should start to fix this?

 

Not sure if anyone ever responded, but on my A6 the headlights have to be on for the headlight washers to work. And they dump out a ton of water.

 

Recycling this thread because I am now looking for advice for a 2003 A4 3.0. We had leaks from the headlight washer tubes and pinched them off. Now the windshield washer is not squirting. The reservoir is full. Fuse is good. Anyway to test the pump?

I want to do some basic problem determination before I bring it back to the shop that did the "pinching" and ask them to make sure they did not do something to the windshield tubes.
