I have a '03 A4, 1.8T. When the headlight switch is on, the lights are on high beam no matter what. When the headlight switch is off, the headlights are off completely in the low beam position and on in the high beam position. This happens even if the car is off and key removed. Yes, I can leave my headlights on with no key in car, and switch off as long as I have chosen high beams.

Also, when I use the turn signal to turn left or right, the left indicator in the car always flashes.

I am guessing my entire turn signal/high beam switch is bad? Anyone ever hear of this?
