Default heat problem

hi everyone!

I just bought a 2002 audi 1.8 t with rough running engine I ended up changing the engine because it turned out that i had no compression in two cylinders but more about the engine after openinig up, the problem now that I do not have sufficent heat ( at idle no heat, at cruise no sufficient heat to heat up the car ) the gauge is showing operating temperature in about 4-5 minutes. I tried to bleed the engine with the front jacked up at the hose that comes out from the core heater . At 2-3000 rpm initially i heard air coming out from the hose than I let it idle and the flow nothing came out from the hose. I tried the repeat the process but no luck .
I also would liked to remove the climate control unit.Anybody could help me?

Check the coolant flange. The bleeding procedure ive had to use is remove the res cap and rev the engine til the level goes down then add coolant and replace the cap.
