Help
Hello I am currently test driving a 2003 Audi A4 1.8L Quattro with 97K miles on it. I currently have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with 140k miles on it. I mainly looked at this vehicle b/c it was in my price range, decent on gas for highway driving (in comparison to my jeeps 15mph) and I would need AWD if going to a car b/c of the snow in my area. Now here is what all I am concerned about:
I am still a college student so I am aware of costly(common) repairs to audi's around this mileage so I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with an extended warranty or one they would recommend that covers these common repairs?
What is an avg "lifespan" of these vehicles when properly maintained? (My jeep's 4.0L could push 250k miles easily).
And last... should I just keep my Jeep and wait until I can afford a lower mileage Audi?
Thanks for you help guys, be honest! BTW even though I have a Jeep I have owned some smaller sporty cars before, my latest being a Mazda RX8 so I miss the handling of a car.
