i live in santa clarita, CA but i have no experience on working on cars. but i got my car back from the dealer and i took it somewhere else because they dealer was charging to much. so anyway this other place tells me its just a bad fuse. he replaced it and now my car starts so i was wondering why would the dealer tell me i need to replace both the fuel pump and the filter?

 

Oh the fuel pump relay. While they're working on it maybe have them do the fuel filter to be safe.
