Help putting Intake on!!!???
I just bought the AFE intake for my 2004 Audi A4t Q. I am new to Audi's so i don't know much about them.
Anyways I got the old intake out and am putting in the new one. The instrustions that they gave me suck, so they don't really help to much.
One thing that is holding me up is the big hose on the bottom does not bend around like it says it will and go into the intake. IDK if that means anything to you but i really don't know how to expalin it.
Does anyone else have this intake and can help get it installed so i can finnaly use mu car again. step by step instructons would be really cool.
Anything helps--

I just installed one today. From my experiences...the directions suck. I had to do a few mods to the bottom "big" tube as well. What I did was cut the plastic pipe they gave with the kit, but an 90 degree elbow on and hooked it up. The other problem I had was a 3-way valve connection that didn't fit the rubber grommet that was given in the kit. I had to go back to the store and get a reducer 5/16-1/8 and hook it up with a vacuum line. Something is wrong..the car doesn't spool like it was factory. It actually seems slower.
If you actually call AFE, which I did, they will explain it all and stay on the line with you. Its A LOT easier if you call, the reduced working space doesnt help to take great pictures for the instructions. Anyways when you do get it installed, please, please, make sure you have tightly fastened everything so you can get the full experience from the intake.
