HI' JUST PURCHASED A 2003 A4 1.8T Q!
Has 46,000 miles on it sport package with 17" rims. Thought I would say hello and I am happy to be here. Any tips from anyone on how to keep it in good repair? I have 2 little girls so mods are not in the near future. Had the car 4 days and am liking it more everyday....and it looks sweeeet too.
dont modify it
if you do, there goes your warranty. Ask the dealership or audi dealer about the fuel pump recall. If that hasnt been replaced yet, I would do that immediatley. You wont be charged for that. Other than that, keep up with oil changes and when you get close to 80k miles, might be time to get the timing belt serviced which will probably be the most expensive maintenance service you will have to get. If you hear your turbo whistling too at anytime, that is a bad sign. You just gotta keep your ears open with A4's.

Congrats on your purchase, and welcome to the forums. If you have any questions about the car, do a search first. Chances are your question has already come up and been answered multiple times.
