Smile Honest Opinion.

I'm almost definitely going to paint the wheels on my audi this summer. I'm just getting ideas in my head for what I want to do to the car. I'm definitely going to do a tune up and hopefully fix a slightly rough idle/vibration I'm getting from her. Lately I've been set on painting the stock wheels a glossy black color or maybe even the same silver the car is. And I like the way some of the mercedes cars have a black glossy top on them like the one here:

I'm thinking this would go along nice with the wheels. Any suggestions or even better anybody else do this before? I think Ive seen it done to an audi on here before but I can't seem to find it. Thanks...

BTW I understand how to paint the wheels, Ive been working at my family's body shop for the past 7 years so I'm just looking for ideas. But I figure since the wheels on my bmw look nice then the audis wheels painted should be nice too.

this is my 2004 Audi A4 with 19" wheels. This should give you an idea of what your car will look like.

Nice stance, is that the stock sport suspension or did you put lowering springs on it?

To the OP, if you are going to paint the wheels i like the paint match look personally, a glossy black wheel looks cheesy unless its a larger than a 17" wheel. If it were 18" or 19" i would say the black would look good.

to my knowledge its the stock sport suspension, i bought in Sept. of last year. Even the 19" rims are factory.

the piano top roof is def a nice look. I would say paint your wheels a light grey gunmental color. but u can search on audizine and alot of people have painted their stockers all sorts of different colors. I know i had mine stockers painted white.

More ideas can be had here - go to the S car subforum and in the sticky posts, there's the S4 wheel gallery. You can look through there to see different wheel colors on different color cars to get an idea.
