How to change 2003 A4 3.0 battery
I would have tried a search on this subject but could not figure out how to search the forum.
My dealer said that I need a new battery, $108 for battery and $130 installation. Seems ridiculous to me, so I want to change the battery myself. Seems that the battery is understand a place cover.
Does anyone know where I can find some instructions on changing the battery?

Sorry for the terrible spelling. I meant to say that it seems the battery is under a plastic cover and could require a special tool to replace. Anyone know anything about this?

That is a rip-off for sure. If you go to Pep Boys, they can install your battery for $10 provided that you buy it from them. They charge around $100 for a new battery.
