Default change battery on b6

anybody ever change your battery on a b6, i want to change it and how hard is it, i've heard it is a pain in the a$$, and what is the plug that goes into the right side of the battery, i would like to get an aftermarket battery but i have never seen a plug on the side, looks sorta like the power plug from a computer but smaller.

its a drain, the plug, did you see many cars that have all rusted body neer battery, well that tube directs the gas and extra acid below it, so that later in its life there be as nice as they day you bought it.

get optima battery, they are closed units meaning no acid out. just make sure that you can fit it in.

Its really not that hard to do the battery at all. You only have to remove the plenum cover. No screws or anything. Just remove the rubber seal and pull out the cover. You can leave the cowl ccover at the bottom of the windsheild in. The only tricky part is squeezing the new battery in. It helps to have an extra set of hands to pull the cowl cover out of the way while your putting the new battery in.
