that happened to me a few years back while shopping at a grocery store. I found out who the owner was of the shopping center and contacted them to fix my bumper, sent photos of my car and a estimate for repairs. 2 weeks later i got a check from the owners of that shopping center to repair my audi

 

I did the exact same thing yesterday evening. Pulled away from the curb too quickly. All the clips are broken... i'll have to go to a garage and see how much that costs me. It's a good lesson to learn. I didn't know how extremely dangerous curbs were. They don't look very agressive at first glance!

 

Yup I've done it too Dunkin Donuts parking lot. Fortunatly no damage, I managed to tape it up until I got home. When I did the timing belt a few months later I had the bumper off and started messing with it and got it to fit back into the original spot with ZERO mods, no broken clips or anything I was amazed to say the least hahaha
