Default important questin .....please help.

ok yesterday we got a lot of snow where i live. i took my audi out to a empty parking lot and had some fun. doing donuts and sliding. after about 30 minutes. i saw some dark grey smoke from the back. so i stoped. i went to the store and never so the smoke again that day. car drove fine. this morning i started the car up so i could move it. i saw a small amount of grey smoke. after i i moved it there was no grey smoke. as it was running i went to look at the exhaust. no smoke but i knelt down and when i was close to the pipe i coudl smell a small amout of gas. so im alittle concerned. my mechanic will look at tomorrow but i just wante dto see if i could get some ideas before then. is it possible i blew a gasket ? is it safe to still drive teh car? any ideas or sugestions will be great.

It's been a week since this post. Did your wrench "find" anything? I'd bet that if any of us stuck our noses in our tailpipes we'd smell a "small amount of gasoline". I'm hard pressed as to the source of the smoke originally, but if you were pushing hard it may have been tire related, not engine. I think the grey smoke you say the next day was exhaust and since you were paranoid you perceived it to be whatever you wanted it to be.

Keep us posted.
