That little fix might do what I need too, my ESP button is BUBBLING! I have the same peel on the radio, and on the headlight switch. No window buttons yet fortunately, but the passenger window auto-down, only on the driver's side switch is broken. Auto-up, up, and down works, and all functions work on the passenger side switch. The Stealership wanted $130 for the switch alone!

Any recommendations on how to remove the door panel etc so that I can get to the switches and replace them?

Theres around three to four bolts on the panel to remove and your good to go. I'm pretty sure 2 of the 4 are under the interior strip right above the switches.

Good Luck.

on a climate control unit you can pop off the buttons and replace them with ones from another unit its not that hard a small kniff and a little prying. most of those units have the same size buttons even if the unit is diffrent sizes. find a cheap one thats got good buttons even if its not the same model #
