Anyone know the best way to get an Ipod connected in a B6? I have seen some kits, just wanted to know what the easiest method is.

Thanks

The easiest and prolly the cheapest is to use the cassette thing. I bought mine from BestBuy.

I have the IceLink adapter and works awesome. It even charges it while not in use. You can use your factory stereo to flip through songs. But the cheapest and fastest would be to use the cassette adapter.

I use the cassette adapter and use the mount from ProClipUSA. Incredible setup and the quality is great. I don't even notice that the cassette is there. I have the cord almost hidden.

I haven't bought it YET, but I have heard the Ice Link Gateway 100 is the best. Even work with the dash display and radio display. I was told this by the manufacture's tech people. I am wait until after father's day to get it. Who knows, I might get it then.

Or you can add in the factory ipod adapter. Its a little costly. I was quoted at my audi dealership as $240 for the part and about 45mins labour to install it ($75). It hides away nicely in the glove compartment and charges the ipod. You control it through the radio controls. Super nice but costly.

Does anyone know if the IceLink products work with the Bose Symphony units, such as in my 2002 A4?
I would love to see a wiring diagram for that unit if anyone has it.
Regarding the factory adapter, is it available for 2002 vehicles?

I bought and installed a new headunit (kenwood). it comes with the ipod adapter. This unit came with rca cables to keep the stock amp and speakers. i dont know if you are trying to keep the stock look. but i thought i would put in my 2cents.

I use PIE iPod adapter and worked pretty good. It isn't that hard to install; only took me about 30 minutes.
