for some reason my keyfob doesnt work when i come out to my car after work or after not driving it for a while, but when i drive home and then go to lock it the keyfob works.

can anyone tell me the source of this? i know there are valet modes or whatever on the door but im not really familiar with the meaning of either switch.

Replace the batteries and re-program one key at a time. Make sure it works before doing the other key. If that does not help, BSOM.

 

it doesnt seem to be a battery issue i think it has something to do with valet mode? if i come out after a long time of not driving it doesnt work but as soon as i start the car that disarms everything and allows the keyfob to work, so maybe my car is in valet mode?
