Hi All,

I am in need of changing the CV axle in my 03 A4. Now my question is, re manufactured axles can be used from VIN 390,000 and up. My car is VIN 288,000 and word is I can only use OEM axles, and they are $500 vs $150.

Now, I am all for buying OEM parts, but why will the re manufactured ones not work?

What is the difference between VINs up to 390,000 and after??

ive heard raxles is the place to go for good quality replacement. Anything else besides oem is prone to going out fast.

 

I checked them out, wayyy cheaper than ECS and Audi Dealer. Looks like I can get both sides for the price of 1. I'll be ordering soon.
