did anyone else get the letter from audi saying theyll replace any coil packs(ignition) i believe they are 1 in the same, for free. because they are prone to failure and dont pass emissions blah blah blah. so i had one changed a while ago does that mean i get money back

I got the letter also and had them installed last week. The Audi dealer told me they replace the coil packs if they're not updated. I asked for my old coil packs back just in case the new ones go out.

 

I got the letter too, but am afriad to goto the dealer and get charged for some bs.

If you have receipts or other proof of replacement, Audi may reimburse you, call Audi of America for more specifics.

 

They shouldn't charge anything just give them the letter and they will do it for free.

 

The letter says something about "may be additional dealer fees." I dont trust the dealer so I will call them first.

 

how long ago did you guys receive this letter?

since i bought mine used just recently from a non audi dealership do you think i would get a letter at all?

possibly just call the dealership near me?

 

I believe i received that leter around friday....? I also bout my car from a private sealer and still received it. The only thing is that i bout my car around 8 months ago.....

 

Please scan/post letter. Is this for 1.8T or also 3.0?
