Looking to buy a 2004 A4
Hey all,
I've recently been thinking of getting a 'new' car, and a vehicle that caught my eye was a Pre-Owned 2004 Audi A4, 1.8L FWD CVT Convertible. I haven't gotten a chance to look at it yet in person, and I was wondering if there were any issues the B6 had that I should keep an eye out for.
Also, for anyone that has the CVT, what do you guys think of it? Performance, reliability, etc.
Thanks,
Joe

Personally I'd pass on the FWD. Quattro is the way to go. Also the CVT tranny is prone to problems.
More importantly, if you plan on doing any mods, the CVT is too weak to take them. Take your time and find a 5/6 speed Quattro.
