Im looking to install a hard wired switch for my undercover warning light. If anyone can tell me an easy or good point to tap into the 12V power system?

do you want the power to be constant or only powered when the car is on?

Yes there is an easy one in the over head console at the sun roof control. Check the DIY at A4Mods, under hard wired radar detector. They ran a ground al the way back to the fuse box. I drilled one right there. Took twenty mins.

i grounded my radar into a ground in the light housing. I forget where i did. Ill check it out and see cause my damn sunroof has gone awall. But the sunroof DIY is the best way to get power cleanly.
