Default Looking into buying a b6

Okay so I own a B5 in the middle of finding somone to but it right now and I am stepping up to a B5, is there anything I should watch out for or ask other then the typical t-belt, control arms, oil sludge... I am actually looking to get a more tamed down car and if any modding will be done it will be moderate. Going to get a tip or auto so my girly wife can drive it if she has to, I will post some adds up on car I have had my eye on for a while. Any input will help. Thans guys

It's a no brainer, don't buy a b6 fwd. Horrible transmission reliability. Quattro seems much better even with high miles. Something to look out for is coil plugs, ac compressor. I bought a b6 quattro that had a problem with it's ac compressor and steering angle sensor, cost me nearly 2 grand above the car price. But steering angle sensor is not usual. Just take it Indy an Indy shop before u buy it for codes and get those fixed up.

Btw I'm not sure if the second one has quattro or not. Doesn't seem like it to me just cuz the front grille is missing the quattro badge. Double check with the dealer

hmm looks like they took the chrome piece off of the bottom grill, and got the usp fog light grills (the ones that look mesh like instead of horizontal bars).

just noticed the lower lip...good question about that. im not exactly sure on that one

Meh, whatever it's gone and the milage scared me away. I pretty much have my B5 sold and will hold out for a usp or 02-03 sport. I believe the sport has the sport suspension and painted lower moldings? Should i be scraed of CVT? I found a nice 02 sport 3.0 with CVT 69k Rs4 reps and stock rims for 11k. Just not sure about the CVT. Thanks for all your guys input can't wait to jump the fence.
