Default Major Engine Trouble on '05 B6 A4 1.8t

Please help me figure out what could be wrong with my 2005 B6 Audi A4 1.8t quattro automatic with only 40K miles. I parked it at the airport for 2 days. It was running great when I parked it there. Never had any major issues. When I got back it now has some major issues. The following describes the issues:

1.) When car is parked and idling at 1,000 rpm, it is very rough and pretty loud. The whole car is vibrating like a massage chair. It feels like it is going to die but it doesn't. It will drop down to about 800 rpm and then back up to 1,000 every few seconds.

2.) When driving the car cruising (not pressing the gas pedal) on flat or downhill roads at about 2,000 rpm the ride is very smooth. As soon as I press on the gas even just a little bit the car starts to vibrate like crazy, and the acceleration is very slow.

3.) Then it will downshift and get up to 3,000+ rpm and the ride is smooth again, however I have NO Get-Up. It feels like the turbo is just completely gone and I'm just driving with a 1.8 engine.

4.) My 0-60 is probably about 20+ seconds now. There is really no torque anymore.

The check engine light is now on. I would think that it is the turbo because of the no torque and very slow acceleration issue, but I'm not sure why the turbo would be making the car vibrate like crazy when parked. So it could be something with the engine. Please help me out with your insight. I have never had this experience before. It still drives but I don't feel safe at all with the acceleration issues. Thank you very much.

Check the codes. It sounds to me like it could be a coilpack or two.

same thing happened to me many times and it was the coil packs.one way to check it without a computer it while the car is running.pull one coil pack at a time, you should notice a change in the engine noise.if you dont, that coil pack is bad.

If the CEL is flashing it's more than likely a coil. clogged cat unlikely, but you aren't helping things by continuing to drive it in this state. Park it, get the codes read at like autozone or something and report back. Is your coolant temperature gauge working? Unplug the MAF sensor on the outlet of the airbox and go for a ride. Is it better?
