My 2005 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro vs. a 2011 VW Jetta TDI and I need some advice/thoughts.

I got the wild notion of trading in my Audi for the VW, even went to look at them as well. My Audi was 1800 miles away at the time, so I couldnt make a snap decision. Both the salesman that helped me and the head salesman REALLY wanted my Audi. As I have had a few days to think about it, I cant get the thought out of my head that they figured they had a sucker on their hands and wanted to relieve me of my Audi for a "lesser" car.

The new Jettas are pretty sweet TBH, and the TDI has everything my Audi has except AWD. I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in the gas models.

My dilemma is this, I love my Audi, even tho the engine was replaced (hadnt had a problem since) except minor things that go with a 6 year old car. I cant help but feeling I would be giving up something awesome for something great. But, again, its 6 years old against a brand new car.

Money really isnt an issue, payment would go up maybe 40 bucks. Been talking with the wife, and we are tentatively planning to go look at the new Jettas with the Audi in the next few days.

Also, I cannot afford a brand new A4 and I wont buy another used one. Nor will I lease.
