Default MIL lamp illuminated

Hi guys, just went for a short ride and on the way the MIL lamp illuminated. Now i know the obvious answer would be to take it to an audi dealership but what could this entail? I checked the gas cap it was fine other than that what could it be? Could it have anything to do with the turbo? I hope not cuz i know thats pricey. Well thanks for the help
Jeff

When i got my free trial chep, CEL came on after 2hrs of driving, car was ok though. When got the codes, i found out car was running lean. After that car was misfiring at idle- that was a vacuum leak.

odds are a coilpack when bad or a vaccume leak which will cause a coilpack to go bad in a few weeks. If u ever feel like vibration more then normal from the engine its time to swap them. Go to autozone and get them to scan ur codes. If it comes back with a cylinder misfire its coils. U can get them at esc tunning dont get stock though get stage 1 hitachis
