Default Misfire Question (now with codes! not really misfires!)

Hey Guys:
Been having a problem lately, for the most part, when i drive to or from work on the highway, after about 20min of casual driving she starts to buck and misfire like mad when i lift off the throttle. Things that i have replaced over that last few hundred miles include: All new plugs, coils and new cat. The cat got replaced by audi under the emissions law so i had to take it to the dealer to get done. When i picked up the car the tech had mentioned to me that by throttle body gasket would need to be replaced in the near future.

So i guess my question is, do u think the gasket could have something to do with the misfires? O one other weird thing, when i'm having this issue, if i flip on cruise control, she'll drive perfect all the way home...

Car: 2002 A4 3.0 (usp conversion! yay!)
TIA

hmmm my misfire problems were due to coils. even after i put new ones in those went bad extremely shortly after, about a month? but then i got some Hitachi E's and they have been working great!

Well i guess what i was feeling was not misfires. Scanned and showed no misfires, instead got the code: 16409-Bank 2- Camshaft B(exhaust): Advance Setpoint not reached (Over-retarded).

Ideas?

When let sit at idle after driving and she starts acting up, something goes crazy and causes idle fluctuation.

Was your timing belt replaced recently? Your timing is off for some reason.
