I got a '02 A4 quattro auto, wanna do some work to it, and was wondering if the automatic tranny would handle the load? Here's a list of what i'd like to do...

-APR stage I+ ecu upgrade
-APR K04 Turbo upgrade or GT2871R (anybody have any input on either?)
-Front mount intercooler (unsure of kit)
-Full exhaust (unsure of brand)
-1.8 to 2.0 conversion build
-Neuspeed pulley kit
-Silicone hose kit
-etc. (Let me know wut i'm missing)

 

You could go to about 300 bph without any problems, anything over that you are dancing with the reaper. A GT2871R may be a little too much for it, a K04 would be fine, no need to upgrade it to a 2.0L. You could maybe get away with a GT2X eliminator but thats an oil cooled only turbo, so you would have to wait longer before turning off the engine or put in a turbo timer.

Yeah pretty much, just keep it around 250-260 brake horsepower and it won't have any problems.
